Birkenstock Arizona BFBC Anthracite

The Arizona is the sandal with which Birkenstock has been telling us for over two hundred and fifty years that comfort doesn't have to compromise on character. This BFBC version — two wide straps in anthracite Birkibuc with oversized black buckles — has that slightly bold edge that works with everything: with cropped jeans on a Saturday morning, with wide linen trousers on an evening terrace, or straight after a shower heading to the porch.

Birkenstock has been making these in Germany since their founding in 1774. The anatomical cork and latex footbed is one of those things that, once you try it, you understand why it remains a favourite for so many people.
