FLOWERS IN THE MOUNTAIN

Loreak Mendian — "flowers in the mountains" in Basque — started in San Sebastián in 1995. Víctor Serna and Xabi Zirikiain opened a store in the old harbour with more enthusiasm than experience; Xabi, an aeronautical engineer, was also the author of the daisy logo already seen around town. Thirty years later the brand is still in San Sebastián and still recognisable for the same thing: urban pieces with a homely feel.

This season the new autumn-winter arrivals are landing at SUNE: sweatshirts, flannel shirts, knitwear and outerwear made for northern weather. Comfortable clothes, no fuss, that work the same up north as they do in Barcelona.
