Autry Reelwind

The Reelwind is the Autry that feels right from day one. Some trainers need breaking in, weeks of wear before they give. Not this one: it wraps the heel, follows the foot, moves with you rather than asking you to adapt to it. It's lighter than the Medalist, less flat in the sole, and you feel that in every step.

The Reelwind has a closer fit than the Medalist — not wider than that, just regular, the kind that suits any foot that isn't particularly broad. It hugs the foot with the right amount of hold, no extra room. The Medalist sits heavier, more planted; the Reelwind moves. It's the trainer for the long Saturday, the weekend trip, the day when you don't quite know what's ahead but you want to be comfortable.

The construction is pure Autry code: upper mixing suede and nylon, marked side chevron, cream midsole with star relief and rubber outsole with embossed branding. A retro-runner with a sharp silhouette, flat laces and that feeling of a trainer made without rushing —every material in its place, no excess, with craft. If you need even more room underfoot, the Hyperway is the most generous fit in the Autry lineup.
