Puraai Vintage Sidro

The 1.01 Vintage is a Puraai with a retro feel: a low sneaker with a serrated-edge chevron logo on the side, chunky laces and a rough-textured rubber sole you notice straight away. In Sidro, military-green waxed nylon and microsuede with an off-white logo, military-green laces and an amber sole, it is earthy and has a countryside feel. Comfortable from day one. Puraai was born in 2020 from two young Italian designers inspired by a trip to Japan, and it has its own way of making shoes: no materials of animal origin, PETA Approved, and a recycled rubber sole. For Sunday vermouth, a slow wander around the neighbourhood, or picking tomatoes in the village. The kind of sneaker you slip on without thinking.
